The recent 18th-century trade show at Pricketts Fort, nasty weather notwithstanding, was a bonafide success, with heavy attendance throughout the three-day event.

For those poor unfortunates among you who missed out, the following scenes will have to suffice, and will perhaps prompt you to make it out here next year.  Such a high concentration of superior-quality trade goods has not been seen altogether in one place for a good many seasons.

And next Spring, as soon as the rivers unfreeze and your winter bunions stop throbbing, put all your petty excuses aside, round up the wife & kids, saddle up the mule, and  head on down the Monongahela to the mouth of Pricketts Creek and take in the best trade show this side of the Wabash.

‘Nuff said.
